Restorative Care
Although at Parkview Dental our primary goal is to prevent dental problems before they arise, Dr. Vasani has extensive experience in restorative dental care, or in other words, fixing dental problems. This includes filling cavities, creating and placing crowns, and fabricating dental appliances such as dentures or partials. Follow the links below to see detailed information as to restorative dental services offered at our office:
Same Day Crowns
Parkview Dental is thrilled to offer the latest dental technologies including CEREC for Same Day Crowns. Through CEREC Primescan and Primemill, we can create customized restorations, such as crowns, in a single office visit.
If you choose to have a restoration that utilizes CEREC, you’ll be amazed at the speed and results of the dental work. While you wait for your customized, tooth-colored restoration, you can listen to music, watch a movie/TV, or even tap a short nap. Our patients enjoy the benefit of having a complete repair done in just a few hours.
Please call us to book an appointment and take advantage of the latest in dental technology.
Implants
Dental implants are a wonderful solution for replacing missing teeth. A dental implant is made of a titanium post that’s embedded into your jawbone. The post mimics a real tooth root, keeping your jaw strong. Your post will be capped with a porcelain crown, which looks, feels, and acts like a natural tooth. Dental implants are stable, reliable, durable, and long-lasting with proper care.
Bridges
When a tooth is missing between two crowns, the gap can be filled with a dental bridge. A bridge is a single set of two crowns with a tooth connected between them. The two outside crowns are set over teeth on either side, anchoring the bridge and holding the center tooth in place. The result is three permanent, functioning teeth with no gaps between them.
Dentures
Dentures are the most affordable, least invasive option for replacing missing teeth. If you are missing multiple teeth, dentures may help restore your smile to good function, health, and beauty. Dentures are made largely of acrylic and are composed of artificial teeth placed in a gum-colored base. The base sits on your gums and may be held in place with a denture adhesive. If you are missing multiple teeth but still have some natural teeth left, our dentists may recommend partial dentures. Partial dentures use a framework or clasps to anchor themselves to your remaining teeth.
